GOALS, INTENTIONS, ASPIRATIONS: I am pursuing a doctorate in education. I want to learn about community-oriented and community driven forms of education. I am passionate about justice and “education as a practice of freedom” (bell hooks).
ABOUT: I have lived in Flagstaff for 17 years. I worked at Chili’s for seven years while getting my bachelor’s and first Master’s degree. I taught at NAU for nine years while getting a second Master’s degree in sustainable communities.
