Tell me a little bit about how you were first introduced to cannabis therapy:
I was introduced by my neurologist to help with seizures and loss of appetite because of offset neuroactivity.
In what specific ways has cannabis therapy improved your health and wellbeing?
It has definitely helped me gain healthy weight back and improved my sleeping. Now that sleeping and eating are controlled, so are my seizures.
What have you learned and/or realized about cannabis therapy?
It definitely has a calming effect. It has settled my mind as far as anxiety goes.
What would you tell someone who is skeptical about cannabis therapy?
Try it out in more ways than one. Find out what suits your body best so that it works effectively.
What are some misconceptions about cannabis that you have encountered in your experience?
I was told that I would get “addicted” and that it would lead me to other drugs. I have not done any other drugs and as far as addiction goes, I’m happy my use is on a need-to-use basis.
What other ways do you stay happy and healthy?
I like to paint and play music. My artsy skills have also improved since using cannabis!
What is a specific quality that you love about yourself?
I love my personality. I am me, always will be. I love that I have the ability to make someone smile and laugh. It’s the best feeling ever.
